We build apps. We don't build dossiers. Here's exactly what our apps do with your data - all of it.

TONE WRANGLER

Camera and photos. Tone Wrangler uses your device camera (or a photo you choose to upload) to identify guitar pedals. That's the entire reason it asks for camera access.

How photos are processed. When you scan a pedal, the image is sent securely to Anthropic's Claude API, which analyzes it and returns the identification. The photo is processed and then discarded. We do not store your photos on our servers, and we do not build a library of your images. Anthropic processes the image solely to provide the analysis, subject to Anthropic's Commercial Terms, and API inputs are not used to train their models.

What we don't collect: No account, no name, no email, no location, no contacts, no advertising identifiers, no analytics or tracking SDKs.

TheCultureSource

Location. TheCultureSource asks for location access for one purpose: showing you events near you in the NYC area. Your location is used to filter results and is not stored on our servers, sold, shared, or used for advertising.

What we don't collect: No account or login required. No push notification tokens. No advertising identifiers. No analytics or tracking SDKs. Your saved events and follows live on your device.

Both apps

Selling your data: Never. We have no ad networks, no data brokers, no "partners."

Third parties: The only third party that touches user data is Anthropic (photo analysis in Tone Wrangler, as described above). We use it as a processor, nothing more.

Children: Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes: If an app's data practices change - for example, if we add optional notifications - we'll update this policy and the app's App Store privacy details before the change ships.
